Joining IWF was one of the best decisions that I made after moving from India to Finland. It brought me closer to my fellow Indian women learnt so many things got to know so many people and took guidance from their experiences and found support of so many women whom I met in Finland and the best part is that I found so many amazing friends by being a part of IWF.
IWF has played a major part in giving me experience for the Job that I am currently doing. It gave me the chance to work on my passion something that I loved, Ramya always supported me, motivated me, guided me and gave me the freedom to explore and to experiment which added a lot to my experience.
I managed to make a huge network of people though IWF, which was a big help because all my friends and my well wishers use to connect me, refer me whenever anyone use to see a job related to my skills and that is one of the most important things in Finland. Also, It gave me some amazing friends which I believe I would not have found if I wasn’t a part of IWF.
Based on my personal experience I would say do not hesitate to join IWF and contribute in whichever way you can.. your time, your skills, your experience, knowledge. It will come back to you in unexpected ways. One thing I can proudly say by being a part of IWF is Give all that you have to offer to this community and you will not regret it.
I would always be thankful to IWF for giving me an opportunity to serve, to learn, to explore so much, it has played as one of the major contribution of my life in reaching my goals.
